Ainsdale Lunch and Leisure

Supporting ‘You’ to live longer, better.

An independent charity, operating in the heart of Ainsdale, we direct our focus to support and celebrate YOU, those special and remarkable individuals who together make up our wonderful community.

Through us, you will experience a welcoming space where you can relax, with no pressure at all to be anyone but yourself. A place where you can meet with existing friends, or even find new ones.

We will provide you with access to activities that support your physical and mental wellbeing, and also to fabulous food, available via our Luncheon Club and Community Cafe.

We’re here to help take the pressure out of life, and keep the joy in.

So join us, and join in…

Great Food, Good Company.

A celebration of great food and good company, our Luncheon Club kicks off at 12 noon, Mondays through Fridays each week.

Good nutrition, is vital to maintaining our physical and mental health, especially as we age, and can help reduce the risk of developing chronic diseases such as diabetes, stroke, heart disease and some cancers.

Eating well and nutritiously can also boost energy levels and reduce fatigue, improve mood and cognitive function, reduce inflammation, promote better sleep and support a healthy weight.

By providing access to a traditional two-course meal (main and dessert), followed by a relaxing cup of tea or coffee, we can support you to eat both well and affordably.

And remember… sometimes, simply getting out and about, being present in the company of others, can itself provide an important boost to health.

Our Luncheon Club welcomes both club members and visitors, but advance bookings only, please.

The luncheon Club menu is updated here on the website, each week. To book, call us on 01704 574838.  NB. There is no need to book in advance if ordering from our Community Café menu.

We also facilitate a delivery service, to those less able-bodied individuals within our local community.

Comfortably nestled within the buildings of Ainsdale Methodist Church, the ALL Charity Shop is the perfect location to root out a bargain or discover a unique treasure.

We are great advocates here, for slow fashion and responsible shopping, and always at affordable prices. Whether you are looking for clothes, books, or homeware; your inspiration is fun, quirky, or simply pre-loved, there’s always something new to discover here.

Revenue from the items you buy and donate, goes directly towards our work supporting older adults to live longer better.  With so much value to be found via unwanted clothes or household items, nothing should be left buried or forgotten at the back of wardrobes, or worse, mouldering in a garage or abandoned in landfill.

The shop is open Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday between the hours of 10.00 am and 2.30 pm.

We also sell goods online.
